How to play

Moving a piece

Drag left or right on the board. One touch controls one direction at a time, so a downward drag will not nudge the piece sideways.

Rotating

Tap the board, or use the rotate buttons on the left rail.

Dropping

Drag down to soft drop. Flick down, or press DROP, to slam it and lock immediately.

Hold

Tap the HOLD box to park the current piece and swap it back later. One piece at a time, once per piece.

Last-second adjustments

A piece resting on the stack gives you half a second before it locks, and every move or rotation resets that timer, up to fifteen times.

Common questions

There is no sound.

Check the MUSIC and SOUND toggles on the menu, or the pause screen during a run. Both are on by default. Also check the iPhone silent switch.

My scores disappeared.

Scores are stored on the device only. Deleting the app, or restoring to a new device without an app backup, removes them.

Game Center is not showing my scores.

Sign in to Game Center in iOS Settings. The game works fully without it; local scores keep working either way.

Does the game use data or show ads?

No. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no account, and no data collection. See the privacy policy.
