    How to play

Four colors share a 20 × 20 grid. Each holds the same 21 tiles, from a single square to every five-square shape: 89 squares in all.

    Start

Ember, Tide, Iris and Flint each own a corner. Your first tile must cover your corner.

    Grow

Every new tile must touch one of your own tiles corner to corner, and may never share a side with your own color. Other colors may sit against your sides, so you can wall rivals off.

    Finish

When you have no legal tile left, you are out. When every color is out, each square still in your tray costs 1 point. Place all 21 tiles for +15, or +20 if the single square goes last. Highest score wins.

    Controls

Drag a tile from the tray onto the board. The ghost turns green where it fits and red where it does not. Tap the selected tile or the board ghost to turn it, use Flip to mirror it, then tap Place. The spot button jumps through every legal position. On a keyboard: arrows move, R turns, F flips, Enter places.

    Modes

Field puts you against three on-device rivals: Easy, Normal or Hard. Quarry scatters stones that nobody can cover. Daily Quarry gives everyone the same stones each day. Hotseat passes one phone between 2 to 4 players; with two players each controls two colors.
